Small businesses can grow with a good website

A good website can make a total difference for your business. I know many entrepreneurs that have made a fortune just by doing the right thing online. I have been helping business owners to grow their business with the implementation of marketing strategies and I have discovered that many of these entrepreneurs don't believe that a website could have the power of growing their company and giving them the money that they want. Because I am in the online world all the time I assumed that all business men and women would understand the power of the Internet in the same way as I do. The truth is that business managers are busy directing their business and don't have time to grow their business online. Many of these entrepreneurs find the digital world scary and complicated. They tell me don't talk to me in terms of SEO, Indexations, rankings, etc. Business owners just want more business and that is why I made a decision: I am officially directing my own business that will help small business owners use the internet to their advantage. I have created strateyee.com.au | A digital agency that aims to increase sales and revenue of businesses through the correct development and implementation of online marketing strategies. These strategies are based in the best practices that I have learned from years and years of experience understanding how consumers behave online, what are the elements that will incentive them to visit your page, what kind of things they search for and how to present the information about a business to get leads and sales in a soft manner from your website. We are in the FAcebook era, everyday things change in Social MEdia and Search Engines, the behaviour of the users has modified. The internet is now accessible from a mobile phone and your business can be generating money 24 hours 7 days a week if you have the right strateyee in place. I share this story here because it is small business created to help other small businesses grow.

Creating a Building Directory to promote your business

I was walking the other day around the Blacktown Area in Main Street and I observed this building directory (image above) where people walking by can get to see what kind of businesses they can find inside the building.

I believe this is a good idea for promoting a business without making it to fancy or spending a lot of money.

Entrepreneurs Face Challenges with Friends

Bethany Frankel talks about disappointment from friends and family who create expectations on how she should behave in regards to money.

No bargaining, paying all the bills are some of the expectations that other people have for her.

The star says money should not change the others behaviours towards you but it does.

Coffee Business: Hugh Jackman is in!

Hugh Jackman has recently launched a coffee and tea company that raises money for charity.
Philanthropy is the driving force behind his invsolvement in the coffee world. In a telephone interview, Mr. Jackman talked about being inspired by the late Paul Newman and his company, Newman's Own, which has donated millions to charity. But it's not the only reason.

The other factor? Taste.
“Hey, I'm a coffee snob,” says Mr. Jackman, who could drink coffee “all day, because I just love it,” but limits himself to one or two cups. “If I'm buying it, I want a great cup of coffee. If you can have a great cup of coffee and the profits of that company are actually going back to different charities, I think it's a win-win for everybody.”
Mr. Jackman's interest in creating a coffee company was sparked during a tour he took as an ambassador for World Vision, an organization that works with children and families. In Ethiopia, he met Dukale, a coffee farmer, and was struck by how hard he worked to look after his family, and by how a little help could make a big difference in the lives of coffee farmers.
In a piece of synchronicity, he discovered that a friend, Barry Steingard, who has 25 years experience in the coffee and restaurant industry, was planning on getting back in the coffee business. “I said, ‘Well, do you need a partner?’” Jackman said.

So far, Laughing Man Coffee & Tea – chocolates were also recently added – is the first subsidiary under Mr. Jackman's umbrella company, Laughing Man Worldwide. The way it works is that 50 per cent of the subsidiary profits go to the parent company, which then donates 100 per cent of its profits. Educational initiatives are the focus of the coffee company, which has partnered with Harlem Village Academies, the well-regarded charter schools in New York, and World Vision.
So, Aussies...  one more Australian Charity Entrepreneur to our list of Aussies raising funds for a cause (and maybe for a bit of extra money too!  - there is nothing wrong with that)

Gym Equipment

Opening a gym seems to be a very popular business idea these days when people are more aware of the benefits of exercising and staying slim.

While some entrepreneurs in Australia pursue their dreams of becoming personal trainers or starting up a gym others find the opportunity to supply them with the equipment they need to set up a gym.

These are some of the companies that are doing this entrepreneurship in Australia and in other countries for you to have a look:

FitBiz Exercise

WorldFitness

http://www.rmasport.com.au/

Some gyms import directly from China too.

I have talked to some of them and I can tell you that I have observed that part of their success is that they understand well the needs of their clients. Those who can listen to the scenario that is presented to them sell better.

If your are planning to tap into selling gym equipment remember that some of your clients are just starting up and do no have a very big budget so if you can give them advise on how to get the business up and running with smaller amounts they will come back to you.

Kids Entertainment

All different activities that keep the kids busy seem to be a good business idea.

From dancing and karate classes to tuition, painting, reading and even making robots is giving money to earn to a lot of people here in Australia.

Parents always want to spend money on their kids and more if they are going to learn something new or develop a new skill, it is a great business idea especially if you are a parent who is always networking with other mothers and fathers who are willing to pay for a service for their lovely children.
