This business is very competitive since you can find all these home products at the large retailers stores like Kmart and BigW. These companies buy bulk and get very good pricing deals.
You need to find a niche and supply products that are different to what you can find at those retailers shops.
I can see that it is still a good business idea since people also love specialized stores like the one you can set up.
Investment is not low since you should set up a proper shop and your business must have abundant stock to incentive more sales.
